It’s that time of year again to start the Christmas decorating of your home by hanging up the lights and spreading the Christmas spirit. For some their Christmas Spirit is low, because their loved ones are overseas serving their Country. Christmas Décor does something special for these families by creating magical memories for them.

The Christmas Décor franchise started the Decorated Family Program in 2003. When one of the franchisees attended a dinner party, he recognized that those who were overseas wouldn’t be able to celebrate with those they love. Christmas Décor gives a small thanks to those overseas by decorating the homes of their loved ones; they are giving a small thanks for what they are doing for our Country.

Every year, hundreds of Christmas Décor franchisees participate in the Decorated Family Program, by decorating the homes of military families in their community. The employees donate their products, resources, and time to participate in this program.

To nominate a family all you need to do is complete the nomination form. On this form you explain why the family you are nominating deserves to win their home being decorated for the holidays. The winners are determined on their location and on how their story impacts the judges. This form can be found on Christmas Décor’s fan page on Facebook, or at http://christmasdecor.net/cdi2/decorated-family. Once the nomination form is filled out, email it to [email protected]. Stories can also be posted on Christmas Décor’s Facebook page for a chance to win; the story to get the most likes will receive a special prize.

The deadline date to nominate a deserving family is November 11, 2013 which gives Christmas Décor enough time to prepare and decorate the homes.
