One of the best things that come from what we do is dealing with our clients when we are going to create a new outdoor living space. We just assisted in putting the final touches on a paver patio that turned out quite nice.  Our client already had a pool installed in their backyard but the surrounding area was really nothing special. They decided to call us to help them create ideas that would help them be able to transform their backyard space into something that they would be proud to show off to family and friends.

The client said that they had an interest in getting an outdoor kitchen, paver patio, and an outdoor fireplace in addition to an area where an additional table could be set up to entertain more people during dinner parties. One big concern that they had was being able to add more shady areas to their outdoor space to keep temperatures down.

We always start out by developing a plan that would incorporate all of the elements that the client required. As soon as the Master plan had been created for the client our 3D Design Expert created an animated movie that showed off things like the paver patio and outdoor kitchen if you were to be viewing it from above in a helicopter. This gives the client an even better idea as far as what the client can expect from our services. As soon as this client viewed the plans for their outdoor living space they were very excited to get started.

We began this project by creating pieces like the outdoor kitchen and bar that really connected the pool house with the client’s home. We used dimensional wall units to create the bar and outdoor kitchen and included elements like a pizza oven and gas grill. We made use of Santa Cecilia Granite for the counter tops in the kitchen. A special concrete footer was used because of the sheer weight of the area.

A Travertine paver patio was installed using Ivory Colored Travertine and red pavers to be able to create a lot of visual interest in their outdoor area. The results of doing this were simply outstanding. We also made use of the services of a subcontractor who installs retractable awnings to create more shady areas outdoors for the client.

The fireplace that was used in the client’s backyard really became a focal point. You can get an excellent view of it from the windows of the house. The same pavers that were used for the paver patio were used as details for the seating area that was near the fireplace.

The final area that was created was an outdoor pavilion that would be used for entertaining. One of the nicest elements added to this area was the retractable canopy that would be able to add shade to the area whenever needed.  A new fence was added to enclose the area and beautifully colorful and easy to maintain landscaping was also added.

The client was incredibly pleased with the results of this project from the new paver patio to the fireplace and is going to be able to create many great memories with family and friends in their new outdoor living space for years to come.
